Who Can Compete?

Entrants from the states that Route 66 travels through (California
Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois) are competing for the “Miss Route 66” state title

7 Age Divisions

(ages allow for participation with minimal supervision)

Little ~ 7 – 9 years
Junior ~ 10 – 12 years
Teen ~ 13 – 17 years
Miss ~ 18 – 24 years (single, never married or with child)
MS. ~ 18 & up (single with a child, divorced, widowed, or over 24)
Mrs. ~ Married up to 49 years
Classic ~ (50 years and up)

Entrants from other states are competing for the “Miss Route 66 Spirit” state title

What if I don't win?

All other entrants are awarded “Route 66 Advocate” titles & will receive a Custom Route 66 Tiara & Ribbon Sash

how many queens can there be?

7 Queen’s (1 in each age division) per state will receive a custom
Route 66 Crown & Embroidered State Sash

Queens and Advocates that send in a (head & shoulder) photo in their crown & sash will be posted on the website

Upon winning the title, State Queens and Advocates are encouraged to contact the nearest Route 66 Museum or Association and see if there are any ways in which they can volunteer their services in the promotion of Route 66. They may also represent their titles at any
automotive event where  “Cars are Stars”, car shows, auto races, cruises, etc.
